Sandy Peterson Boone
Sandra Boone Obituary
Sandra Jean Boone, born in Moline, Illinois, passed away in Show Low, Arizona. She was the daughter of Robert and Mary (Farmer) Peterson.
Sandra graduated from Moline High School in 1968 before attending flight attendant school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her adventurous spirit led her to Honolulu, Hawaii, where she worked as a travel agent. During her time there, she met Ben Panerio, and together they had two children, Bobbi and Benjamin Panerio.
After seven years in Hawaii, Sandra returned to the mainland and eventually made her home in the Phoenix area. It was there that she met Dennis Boone on the dance floor-a fitting beginning for a couple who continued to share their love of dancing throughout their life together.
She had the sweetest smile and endearing personality. She loved getting people together. She had a gift for dance and a passion for teaching the Arizona Two-Step to anyone.
There will be a celebration of life in Mesa, Arizona on Wednesday, April 8, 2-6 pm at Sunland Springs Village (San Tan Room) 2820 Springwood Blvd, Mesa.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis, a brother, Steve and wife Roxanne, Coal Valley; son, B.J. anddaughter Bobbi, both from California, and two grandchildren, Max and Wyatt Panerio.
Anyone who met her, loved her.
