Betty Roseberg
Betty Roseberg, 88, of Moline, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011,at Friendship Manor, Rock Island.
Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. Graveside inurnment service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Moline. Arrangements are being handled by Wendt Funeral Home, Moline.
Betty J. Roseberg was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Moline, to Harry and Tekla Johnson Roseberg.She attended Western Illinois University, Augustana College, and University of Wisconsin, graduating with a masters degree in English.
Betty taught for many years at Moline High School, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of First Congregational Church in Moline, Friendship Guild, Women's Association, Trinity Medical Center Auxilliary, and Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Ruth.
