Margo Geyer

Margo L. Geyer, 54, of Moline, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary, 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Margo was born March 5, 1950, in Moline, the daughter of Edgar and Jeanette Cramer Johnson. She married William Geyer on June 20, 1973, in Moline.

Margo was employed in the Moline schools as a teacher's aide. She also worked at Deere Harvester for a time. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Moline. She was a past president and member of the Franklin School PTA.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors (and spouses) are her husband, William Geyer; children, Thomas Geyer, James (Emilee Adams) Geyer, Deborah (Shae) Drobushevich, Michelle Geyer; mother, Jeanette Johnson; five grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy, Nicholas, and Shae Drobushevich, Jr. and Olivia Geyer; twin sister, Marcia (Merle) Gerber; brother, Kent W. Johnson; nephews, Robert, Daniel and Bradley Gerber, Gregory and Charles Geyer II; two brothers-in-law, Charles (Sharon) Geyer, Paul Jr. (Natalie) Geyer; sister-in-law, Kathleen Bergstrom; nieces, Emily, Christen, and Allison Geyer, Heather Sanders and Angela Lofquist. She was preceded in death by her father.
