Steve Holzinger
Steven L. Holzinger, 58, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Moline, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Family Funeral Services, Colona. Visitation will be 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Steven was born July 16, 1949, in Peoria, Ill., the son of Bernard and Norma Allison Holzinger. He married Nada Havemann June 26, 1972, in Chicago.
Steve had been employed with the city of Cedar Rapids.
He loved his family, his dog, Max, and cats very much. He loved to paint and draw -- he was very gifted.
Survivors include his wife, Nada; son, Sean, Cedar Rapids; mother, Norma Holzinger, Carbon Cliff; sisters, Sandra Jacobs, Moline, and Sherry Boden, Winston Salem, N.C.; and brothers, Charles, Colona, and Robert, Moline. He was preceded in death by his father.
