Carmen J. Zuccarello Frantz, 48, of Moline, died Friday Feb. 19, 1999 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
She was born Aug. 5, 1950, in Moline, the daughter of Charles and Erma (Donnelly) Zuccarello. She married Tony Cardoso in 1968. She later married Richard L. Frantz, Dec. 2, 1972, in Rock Island.
Carmen was an artist. She enjoyed doing crafts and silk flower arrangments. She loved her dogs Stella and Erma.
She graduated from Moline High School in 1968 and continued her education at the Sterling School of Cosmetology, where she received her degree in cosmetology. She retired in 1996 from Sylvia's Styling Salon, Moline.
Memorials may be made to the family to be placed into a trust fund for the education of her first grandchild who is due in September.
Survivors include her husband, Dick; a son, Jason Cardoso and his partner Sue Moe, Iowa City: a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jason Hillyer, Coal Valley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Jan Thomas, of California, and Allen and Chris Zuccarello, Rock Island; a special aunt, Margy Lambert, of Rock Island; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
