Randy Atteberry
Randolph “Randy” Atteberry, 70, of Hallsville, Missouri died Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31st at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola, Illinois. Burial, with graveside military rites, will be in Farlow Grove Cemetery, Matherville, Illinois. Memorials may be left for Mercer County V.F.W. or Red Cross.
Randolph Edgar was born August 10, 1950 in Salem, Illinois, the son of Lewis and Edith Barrall Atteberry.
Randy graduated with the class of 1968 at Moline High School. Randy served in the United States Army from 1970 – 1971. He was a cartographer during the Vietnam Conflict. Randy continued his career with the Department of Defense where he was a professional draftsman, drafting blueprints and instructional manuals for the U.S. Government. He enjoyed shooting, drawing and playing pool. In 1982, he married Chelli Palos in Moline, they later divorced.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Luke Atteberry and Anna DeMeulenaere; grandchildren: Catherine Atteberry, Callie DeMeulenaere and Macy DeMeulenaere and sister: Judith Huffman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
