William D. Hartman, 76, of Moline, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026 at MercyOne Genesis, Davenport surrounded by his loving family.
Private burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island with military honors conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to QC Paws, https://www.qcpaws.org/.
William was born March 30, 1950 in Rock Island, the son of Gene and Helen (Grimes) Hartman.
William was a U.S. Air Force Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from John Deere Harvester in 2010 after 36 years of service.
William enjoyed golfing, slow pitch softball and coaching girls ASA softball.
Survivors include his children, Michelle (Travis) Hoyt, Coal Valley and Teresa (Anthony) Nobiling, Moline; grandchildren, Grant, Jordan, Quinn and Reese and sisters, Jean (Bill) Green, CT, Jane (Chris) Goring, Ottawa, Canada and Mindy (Jim) Skaggs, Moline.Obituary from QC Online
