Harold Anderson
Harold Anderson, 67, of Homewood, IL, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018, from ideopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He was waiting for a lung transplant when he died.
Harold graduated from Moline High School in 1968, having attended Garfield Elementary and John Deere Junior High. Harold served in the U.S. Army 1972-74. He graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1975.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judith Tomasek Anderson; and two daughters, Melissa Anderson (Chad Phillips) and Kate Anderson (Ross O’Connell). Harold also has two grandchildren, Nora and Ben.
Harold will be cremated and his ashes buried in Colorado. A memorial service will be held at his home in Homewood, Ill., on May 5. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Judith Anderson at anderjude@comcast.net. Donations can be made to The National Parks Foundation.
